Let’s see how Meizu M3 Note compete with other smartphones in this price range.

Design and Display:

Meizu M3 Note is an amazing phone with great built quality taking inspirations from the Apple iPhone. It feels quite sturdy and premium in hands which is pretty much impressive.

It has superb ergonomics than its predecessor  M2 Note which is made of polycarbonate plastic. M3 Note weighs around 163g and has a thickness of about 8.3mm. Though it is not as slim as the iPhone, it definitely feels great at hands and is easy to use one-handedly.

Coming to the Display of M3 Note, it features a 5.5 inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass on top giving an extra protection and great viewing angles. Display offers great brightness levels and excellent colour reproduction which is great at this price point.

Below the display there is a physical button which houses the fingerprint sensor called the mTouch 2.1. The physical button doubles up as the home button and as a fingerprint scanner just like the ones found on Apple iPhones. Overall it is the best smartphone in this price range in terms of  design and built quality.

Specifications:

Meizu M3 Note packs the efficient Mediatek Helio P10 octa core processor which offers great performance and energy efficiency. Day to day tasks are handled by 3GB RAM which is more than enough for daily use. Coming to the storage department, it has 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 128GB with the help of the Hybrid Sim slot.

Normal task like opening and switching between apps are fluidic in M3 Note. There is always 1.5 GB RAM free which is great for gaming and other CPU intensive apps.

Coming to the software department, Meizu M3 Note comes with Android lollipop 5.1 based Flyme OS v5. It is an some pretty useful features like multi window support. Flyme OS is also highly responsive and fluidic to use in M3 Note .

Verdict:

Overall Meizu M3 Note is an excellent phone with powerful hardware and intuitive software.  It scores high on design and built quality resembling aesthetics from Apple iPhone. It lags behind in few things like timely software update. While most of the smartphones launched nowadays opt for Android 6.0 marshmallow, Meizu M3 Note still runs Android 5.1 lollipop based flyme OS.

If you do not consider the latest Android OS, then Meizu M3 Note is an excellent smartphone to buy especially considering the price. It feels premium in hands and  has great battery life which is quite decent for daily use.If you play lot of games on your Smartphone, then you can choose Redmi Note 3 which packs in more powerful Snapdragon 650 chip.

That’s all folks! The choice is up to you. Go for it, if you want a great design, build quality and low cost smartphone.
